Meet Our Board

Our board of directors is an all-volunteer team, comprised of some of the brightest minds that will work for free.


Krysti Reif


Krysti has completed a master’s degree in nonprofit management at the University of Central Florida, and she has worked in the nonprofit sector for four years. Her nonprofit experience includes volunteer management at Give Kids The World and fundraising experience for both Rock Recovery, a start up nonprofit in Arlington, Virginia, and the Orlando Repertory Theater. Krysti has previously worked as a nonprofit consultant, helping new nonprofit organizations get off the ground.



Emily Long

Emily currently works as the Director of School & Community Service Programming at Monteverde Academy and has previously volunteered as a Grief Support Group Facilitator at New Hope for Kids.  Her professional and volunteer experiences as well as the loss of her grandmother have served as her motivation and desire to address the needs of the grieving children we serve.  Emily earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Thanatology from Hood College in Frederick, MD.  Emily and her husband, Brad, have one very active and precious son, Brayden.



Brian Reif

Chair-Elect, Secretary

Brian holds an undergraduate degree in hospitality management from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from Stetson University. He has worked for the Walt Disney World Company since 2002 in various positions, including Operations, Information Technology and Marketing. He is a talented technology professional and in the past has donated his time and talents to Give Kids The World.



Lauren Johnson

Financial Advisor

Lauren is a native or Pittsburgh, PA, and was raised and northeast Tennessee.  She thanks her parents for not only instilling values in her, but also encouraging creativity and a curiosity about the world.  Her parents taught her to always be generous and share her time, love, and resources with anyone that could benefit from it. She is excited to have the opportunity to be involved with this organization and truly believes in its mission. Lauren has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and she currently holds the position of Director of Quality & Support Services at HBI.



Abby Kracoff

Abby has an extensive management background including several years managing youth programs aboard Carnival Cruise Lines. Currently, she is serving as the Director of Entertainment for Give Kids The World, a nonprofit in Kissimmee, Florida. Abby also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Miami University.



Kevin Griffith

Born in Indiana and raised in Florida, Kevin was born with a passion for business.  Owner and President of Depco Pump Company, he has taken the company from a small part-time concern to the major player in the pump distribution industry.  After running Depco full time for 31 years, Kevin turned back to his family’s farming roots and founded Fyrne Lake Farms in 2004.  Located in western Tennessee, the property is a functioning farm, hosts a private fishing club on the lake and provides special event facilities for private and public events.   Kevin has 3 children and splits his time between his business in Florida and the family farm in Tennessee.



Millie Zevallos

Millie has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing and Business Management from the University of Central Florida and a certificate in Paralegal Studies from Rollins College. She has over 7 years of progressive experience in the Marketing and Business fields, having held various positions as marketing and social media coordinator and administrative manager, among others. She is bilingual in Spanish and has also served as an interpreter, in both professional and volunteer capacities. Millie is currently working as a Paralegal for a local law firm, and enjoys donating her time and talents to various charitable organizations.
